Each season in South Alabama has its own charms. Our January's tend to be mild, but usually damp. Occasionally though, we are rewarded with a warm sunny day in the first month of the year. The skies are blue, the sidewalks are dry, and the Small Dog walks with an extra spring to her step, which encourages her octogenarian companion to walk with a brisker pace also.


The world is good.

Bamaprogressive was born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1943.  Except for his college years, he has lived there his entire life.  Bamaprogressive attended the University of Alabama , graduating with a degree in Music Education.  He was a high school band director for 16 years.  After earning enough credits to sit for the CPA exam at Auburn University, Bamaprogressive31 spent the remainder of his career at a local CPA firm.
